President Maithripala Sirisena says the unity Government cannot be toppled.The President was speaking at an event held at the BMICH today to mark the second anniversary since he took office. He said the international community had extended support to the Government after it took office in 2015.Sirisena also slammed the protests staged in Hambantota yesterday and told Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to move the proposed industrial zone from Hambantota to Polonnaruwa if the people of Hambantota do not want the industrial zone in the area. The President noted the support he received from the United National Party (UNP) to win the 2015 January 8 election. “No one can topple this Government,” he said. He said the country can move forward as a Nation and he invited all political parties and individuals to support the policies of his Government.The President said the Government was able to remove the pressure faced by the country at the UN Human Rights Council.
